Before you begin any maintenance plan, you may want to refresh yourself on what it means to update your computer. IT maintenance is a little different now from what it was a few years ago and although you may have more to update, the update process itself is far easier.

In general, today's PCs are significantly more complex than ten or even five years ago. Although they do require more IT maintenance than those of the last generation, many maintenance activities that were previously required are not necessary in as many of today’s systems.

Downplaying the importance of IT maintenance in any business can not only lead to failing systems, but will have a direct impact on business growth and could ultimately result in a flagging company.  An IT system is an investment that requires attention and ensuring your system is properly nurtured, allows you to get the best possible return.
